Last letter from Cassini / 2019 / 46.8 x 63.6cm / Melted Candles on paper

I created a melted candle artwork as a response to Cassini. The spacecraft's mission to study Saturn and its moons inspired complex emotions in me, such as awe for the outer solar system and sadness at the end of the mission. Through the medium of a melted candle, I was able to express these emotions and create a unique and memorable piece of art that captures the essence of Cassini's impact on our understanding of the universe.
